APC by Schneider Electric relies on its partners to spread the word about the importance of power protection and supporting infrastructure that’s critical to operating a reliable, high-performance data center. That’s why it’s so gratifying at this time of year to recognize the 20 partners that were awarded “Territory Partner of the Year” recognition for 2017!
Selected from more than 1,000 eligible APC Premier and Elite channel partners, the award, now in its third year, recognizes outstanding performance in four criteria: sales volume, sales growth, deal registrations and field engagements.
Key criteria includes growth, strategic use of MDF
If you look carefully at that list, you’ll see that it’s not just sales performance that drives eligibility for Partner of the Year. In some instances, the award goes to partners that demonstrate significant growth. Fusionstorm in New York, for example, had revenue of just over $340,000 in 2017, but that represented growth of 170% over 2016 – impressive indeed.
We also like to see strategic use of market development funds (MDF). Power Solutions, for example, is a partner in Swansea, Mass. that used MDF to invest in a full-blown social media marketing plan and to help pay the salary of a new systems engineer who focuses on APC. That helped the company, which has fewer than 10 employees, to more than $4.8 million in revenue in 2017, a growth of 24% over the prior year, making it clear that Partner of the Year awards aren’t just for the largest players.
The big guys are eligible too and fared well in this year’s awards as Graybar, for example, took home the award in three territories while Anixter won in two (see list below).
Stellar growth and total sales
All told, our 2017 Partners of the Year saw growth averaging 49% and total sales of more than $31.5 million – truly great numbers.
Without further ado, here is the list of this year’s Partner of the Year winners.
Like last year, each winning channel partner will receive an environmentally friendly recognition plaque made of recycled skateboards from Iris Skateboards. It’s a pretty cool custom plaque, and a reminder of Schneider Electric’s commitment to sustainability.
Congratulations to all our 2017 Partner of the Year Award winners! And thanks to all of our partners for all the work you do to promote APC productsgiving your customers Certainty in a Connected World.
