XChange Solutions Provider conference is an annual event hosted by the ubiquitous The Channel Company. This past month, hosted in the not-so-sunny Los Angeles, California from March 2-5, the big wigs from TCC, channel partners, and SMB vendors rubbed elbows to discuss and share best practice, solutions, and overall benefits in all things IT and power. Channel Program Manager Himanshu Patel, Channel Marketing Specialist Andrea Michel, and myself were lucky enough to attend! Morning speakers echoed that the theme for the event was “pivot or perish,” reiterating that the success of any entity is measured not by avoiding failures, but by reacting to obstacles.
Our team’s experience was a worth-while one. We met CEOs and Presidents from various companies in select boardrooms and at meetings, dinners, and vendor tradeshows. We got to hear about their businesses, how they are adjusting to the cloud take-over, and how they are adapting to off premise monitoring with fewer physical locations. It clearly substantiated how APC by Schneider Electric is still relevant even as physical equipment is diminishing; we provide a full life cycle solution. Although server sales are decreasing, APC’s abilities to manage software services for networking and cloud devices, as well as offer physical security for on-premise devices, were highlighted. To wrap up the week, APC by Schneider Electric walked away with a win in the Technical Satisfaction Category in Power Protection and Management.
We arrived back at APC Headquarters in West Kingston, RI refreshed and inspired to take what we learned from the speaker presentations and market trend conversations we had with other vendors and apply those lessons to strategies crafted with your success in mind.
